Spring Fashion Week

Spring Summer 2015 fashion shows took place in New York, London, Milan, and Paris. Both well-known and up-and-coming designers revealed their latest collections. Here are four looks that made headlines:

  • Layering transparent pastel-colored tulle fabric (used in ballet tutus), paired with structured cropped jackets and trench coats by British designer Christopher Bailey for Burberry Prorsum.
  • Moschino is an Italian line known for its witty approach to fashion. For Spring 2015, Moschino mixed multicolored thick-and-thin stripes with re-imagined pop-culture logos on sporty separates for both men and women.
  • Tablecloth-inspired gingham checks, like this classic black and white wrap dress by New York designer Diane von Furstenberg.
  • Wearing white denim from head to toe: Frame Denim, designed by a team of young French designers, is inspired by the city of London, and is handcrafted in Los Angeles. The simplicity, clean lines, and neutral palette of white and crème has prompted some to predict this company may be the “next big thing” in denim.
